Taking Risks

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out to others is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.
To place your ideas, your dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.
To try is to risk failure.

But risks must be taken,
because the greatest hazard in life is to do nothing.

The person who risks nothing,
does nothing, has nothing, and is nothing.

They may avoid suffering and sorrow,
but they cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love, live.

Chained by their attitudes, they are a slave,
they forfeited their freedom.

Only the person who risks can be free

well abt  the friendship  with the opposit sex after marriage i agree with u…U shouldnot  have to  choose.
tx for ur  comment..it  made me feel  good…that u think the same  as i do .
    bye now
    and  keep smiling

  2. you are right… you do get hurt sometimes but unless you take these risks you’ll never get the chance to experience any of the good things in life. I know very well how it feels when people you thought were your friends hurt you but it’s those few who stay there even when things are bad that make it worth the trouble.

  3. hi there
wellll the fact that we exist is in itself a risk, so no point in avoiding risk.
its like "not taking a Risk is in itself taking a risk"
